The Placers

Our office is located right inside Shalimar Apartment in Masjid Moth. It’s a bit of a different vibe being in an apartment complex rather than a big commercial building, but it works for us. We are tucked away in E13, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads of South Extension. Usually, we arrive early before the complex gets too busy with residents coming and going. The Placers has been running from here for some time, and we like that it feels more like a home than a cold office space. We have our desks set up and some chairs for when people come to visit. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails throughout the day, really. Sometimes the parking downstairs is a bit of a headache, but you get used to it living and working in Delhi. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the work at hand. There isn’t much fluff here. We make our own coffee and occasionally order lunch from the small shops nearby. It’s a small team, so we all know what everyone else is doing. It helps that we are in such a central location, making it easy to get around when we have to go out. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every single day. It’s a plain and honest way to work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Friday.
