Technical Editor

Our office for Technical Editor is over in Maharani Bagh, at C 128/12. It’s a decent area of New Delhi and fairly easy to find if you know the block. We spend most of our time staring at computer screens and checking through texts. It’s quiet work, which is good because editing requires a lot of concentration. We aren't the type of company that has big parties or fancy events. We mostly just stick to ourselves and get the editing done. The office has a few bookshelves filled with old manuals and style guides that we’ve collected over the years. It’s a bit cramped with all the equipment, but it works for what we need. Sometimes we get projects that are quite difficult, and we spend all day arguing over where a comma should go. It’s just how the job is. Maharani Bagh is a nice place to work from because it’s not as chaotic as some other parts of the city. We don't have a receptionist, so if you ring the bell, one of us will just get up and open the door. We prefer it that way. It’s just a small group of us who enjoy working with words and making sure things are correct. We don’t need any flashy ads or big promises. The work we do speaks for itself once people see the final pages.
