Techbooks/Aptara

Techbooks/Aptara is located at 83, Sarai Julena in New Delhi. We are up on the 3rd floor. Sarai Julena is a pretty packed area, and being on the 3rd floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below. It’s an older building, so the stairs can be a bit of a workout if you aren’t used to them, but we don’t mind. The office is where all the book and digital work happens. It’s full of rows of computers and people concentrating on their screens. Because we are in Sarai Julena, there’s always something going on outside—plenty of food stalls and small shops that stay busy all day long. The 3rd-floor space is large enough for the team, though it gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once. We don’t have much in the way of decorations. It’s mostly just shelves and desks. The lighting isn't perfect, but it works for what we need. We’ve been in this New Delhi spot for a while now. It’s a central enough location that most people can find their way here without too much trouble. We just come in, do our shift, and head back down those three flights of stairs at the end of the day. It’s a simple, honest place to work without any of the corporate fluff you find in bigger cities. We just keep our heads down and finish the books.
