Our New Delhi location for Stanley Works India Pvt Ltd is over at H. No- D-1/147 in New Kondli, Ur Vihar III. It’s more of a residential neighborhood than a commercial hub, which makes our office feel a bit different from a standard corporate branch. The space we have is purely functional. We deal with tools and hardware, so you’ll often see boxes of equipment stacked up against the walls and various samples lying around on the desks. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is when we need it. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordinating with distributors and keeping track of inventory on our computers. We don't have any flashy signs or a big entrance. Most people wouldn't even know we’re here unless they were looking for our house number. Inside, the team is small and we keep things very casual. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking emails, but we always find time to sit together and have some tea in the afternoon. The area around New Kondli can get quite congested, especially during peak hours, so we’re used to the local traffic and the general busyness of the streets. We don't have any big corporate mission statements or fancy lobby furniture. It’s just a practical, hardworking office where we get through our daily tasks without any unnecessary fuss or complicated rules to follow.
