Srk People Consultant is based in the D.D.A Flats in Kalkaji, New Delhi 19. If you know Kalkaji, you know it’s a really busy part of the city. Being in the D.D.A flats at D-108 means we are right in a residential area, which is pretty common for consultants in Delhi. It makes the office feel a bit more relaxed. We have a couple of rooms where we meet with people and talk about their careers or what kind of staff they need. It’s a lot of talking and listening. The parking in Kalkaji can be a real problem, so we always tell people to take the metro if they can. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the walls are covered with folders and notes. It’s not a polished corporate office with a receptionist. You usually just walk in and find one of us at a desk. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to match the right people with the right jobs. It can be tiring, but it’s interesting to meet so many different people from all over the city. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall downstairs. The flats are old, but they have a lot of character. We just do our thing here, helping folks out with their employment needs and keeping the paperwork moving as best as we can. Our printer makes a weird noise, but it still works.
