Sri B.K. Trading Co.

Up in Mangol Puri at B-532, things are always a little bit chaotic. Sri B.K. Trading Co. is right in the middle of all that noise. The street is narrow, and if a delivery van stops, nobody else can get through for a while. We spend a lot of time shouting over the sound of the market to get things done. Inside, the shelves are stacked high, sometimes a bit too high, and we always seem to be looking for a ladder that someone moved. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here. We don't have titles or fancy roles; if a box needs moving, whoever is closest picks it up. The tea guy comes by at ten and four, and that’s about the only time we actually sit down. Our paperwork is mostly kept in old folders, and the computer is a bit slow, but we manage to keep track of everything eventually. Customers stop by and stay for a chat, talking about the weather or how the prices of things are changing again. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We’ve been at this B-532 address for so long that we don’t even need to look at the signs anymore. It’s just our corner of the world. We’re not trying to change anything; we just want to get through the day's orders and make sure the count is right before we lock up.
