We have been at 2604 Balaji Main Market for a good while now. Nai Sarak is always crowded and getting paper moved around can be a real headache some days. Most of our time is just spent managing the stacks and making sure the right orders go out to people who need them. It is dusty work and the shop is usually filled with the smell of old paper and ink. People come in looking for all different kinds of sheets and rolls and we try to keep a bit of everything on hand. Sometimes the place feels too small for all the stock we have piled up. The traffic outside never really stops and it can get pretty loud during the peak hours. We just keep our heads down and handle the paperwork as it comes in. It is not fancy here, just a lot of shelves and guys carrying heavy bundles on their shoulders. You learn the rhythm of the market after a bit. The morning starts with unloading the new stock and then we spend the rest of the day sorting things out for customers. We deal with everything from cardboard to printing sheets. About mid-afternoon we usually take a break for tea while the delivery trucks are stuck in the narrow lane outside. Everyone knows everyone else around here and it is a busy life, but it works for us. We do not have a big office, just this space in the market.
