Shardha Placement Services (P) Ltd is located on Club Road in Jorhat, Assam. It’s a nice area, a bit different from the crazy pace of the bigger cities. We have a small office here where we help people figure out where they might work next. It’s a lot of talking to folks who walk in off the street or call us up to ask about openings. We have a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while they fill out forms. The walls are mostly bare except for a few notices about local listings. Since we are on Club Road, we get a good amount of foot traffic. Sometimes the rain in Assam gets so heavy that we have to close the windows tight and just listen to it hitting the roof while we work on our files. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a local team that knows the area and the people around here. We try to be helpful without making things too complicated. Most of the people who come in are just looking for a steady job, and we do what we can to point them in the right direction. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work and we’ve been doing it for quite a while now. We like being part of the Jorhat community and doing our part to keep things moving.
