Selective Consultants is based out of Sajjad Bagh Chowk in Lucknow. If you know the area, you know how busy the chowk can get, especially during the middle of the day. Our office is right there amidst the hustle. It’s not a very fancy setup, just a practical space where we can get our work done without too much fuss. The fans overhead hum all day long to keep the Lucknow heat at bay. We spend a lot of time sitting at our wooden desks, going through documents and talking to people who come by. There is always a smell of street food drifting in from the nearby stalls, which makes lunch the best part of the day. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets, just the usual computers and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. The walls have a few old charts pinned up, and the floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby or expensive furniture. It’s a local business where we know most of the people who walk through the door. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to be helpful. It’s a bit dusty and a bit loud sometimes, but it’s our place and we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily list.
