Scg Hr(I)Pl is based out of a house in Kota, specifically H.No. 1-B-15 in the Talwandi area. Kota is famous for all the coaching centers and students, so the whole vibe around here is very focused on education and jobs. Our office is inside this building and it feels more like a home-turned-office than a corporate building. We have a few rooms set up with computers and chairs. We mostly deal with HR services, so there’s a lot of talking to candidates and trying to figure out where people might fit best in different companies. It’s steady work and the neighborhood is pretty good. You see students walking by all the time with their backpacks. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the house number mostly. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have so many files and papers everywhere, but it’s our space. The cooling works okay in the summer, which is a relief because Kota gets really hot. We take our tea breaks together in the small kitchen area. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, but we do have a lot to do every day. Most of us have lived in Kota for years, so we know the area well. We just keep our heads down and get the work done without making a big deal out of it. It’s a simple life for us here in Talwandi.
