Sankhwar Hospital

Our hospital is right here at D-134 in Kondli, right in the heart of the Bhajanpura area. It’s a place that stays busy from morning until late at night. You can always hear the sound of the street outside, but inside we try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. The hallways aren't huge, so it gets a bit tight when there are a lot of visitors. We have nurses and doctors who have been here for years and they know most of the people who come through the doors. It’s not one of those huge, shiny medical centers you see in the movies. It’s a local spot where people come when they aren't feeling well or need a checkup. The waiting room chairs are a bit old, but they’re sturdy enough. We spend a lot of time filing papers and updating charts by hand. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit in the back hallway, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the patients and making sure they get what they need. There is always a smell of antiseptic in the air, which is probably a good thing. We don’t have any big speeches to give about what we do. It’s just about being here when someone has a fever or needs stitches. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but our building stays pretty much the same. We just keep the doors open and do the work every day.
