Power Security Group

Our office is tucked away in DLF Phase 1, over in the Shikanderpur area. It’s a bit of a maze back here sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Power Security Group is mostly just a few of us in the office and then a whole lot of guys out at different sites. We spend most of our mornings on the phone, checking in on people and making sure everyone showed up for their shifts as planned. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it matters to the folks who hire us. Shikanderpur is always moving, so there’s always something going on right outside our door. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first moved in. The building we are in at D-2-7/59 is pretty standard for the area. We keep some extra uniforms in the back and a desk that’s usually covered in logs and schedules. We don't really do the big sales pitches or spend money on fancy advertisements. Usually, people find us because someone else told them we were reliable and easy to work with. It’s a lot of manual work, tracking hours and making sure the equipment is where it should be. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. That’s just how it is here. We try to be fair with the staff and clear with the clients. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the water cold in the cooler.
