Sachdeva Enterprises is located at Aw- 5 in Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar. If you know this area, you know it is always packed with big trucks and drivers resting between long trips. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of what comes in and out of the gates. The office is small and usually has a few people sitting around talking about the roads and the traffic. Being in Transport Nagar means there is never a quiet moment during the day. There is always the sound of engines and horns. We keep our records in big ledgers and spend a lot of time on the phone. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we do to keep things moving. We have been at Aw- 5 for a long time now, so we know most of the other shop owners around here. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to show up from other cities. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the monsoon hits and the roads get muddy and slow. But we just keep going. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us working hard every day to make sure things get to where they need to go. It’s a practical life here in the transport hub.
