Our shop is right near the Hauz Khas market, specifically at B1/41. If you have ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know it’s always busy. We do signs and displays here. It’s a noisy place because we have machines running quite a lot of the time. There is usually a bit of a smell from the ink or the materials we use for the boards, but you get used to it after ten minutes. The space isn’t huge, so things tend to pile up near the back wall. We have stacks of acrylic and metal sheets waiting to be cut. People stop by with sketches on bits of paper or files on their phones, and we try to figure out how to make it look right. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking on this street because it’s so narrow, so we end up carrying things out to the main road ourselves. It’s just part of the daily routine. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and most of the other shop owners around here know us by name. We don’t use any big fancy words for what we do. We just make the signs people ask for. The floor usually has some scraps of vinyl on it by the end of the day. We clean up, go home, and do it again the next morning. It’s honest work for anyone needing a sign made.
