Private Clinic

Private Clinic is right here on the third floor in Mandir Wali Gali. It's a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when it's hot out in Shadipur. We’ve been in West Patel Nagar for a while now. Most days it's just about seeing who comes through the door. Sometimes it’s a cough, other times it’s something more complicated. We try to keep things simple. The street outside is always busy with people going to the temple or just heading home. You can hear the noise from the balcony. It’s a small space, nothing fancy at all. We have some chairs for waiting and the doctor's room is just in the back. Usually, people from the neighborhood stop by because they know us. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address. The 3rd floor can be quiet once you get inside. We keep records in old folders. It gets dusty, so we clean a lot. It’s just how things are here in this part of Delhi. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit. We just keep the water cooler filled and wait for the next person to walk in. It’s a regular day-to-day job for us. We’ve seen kids grow up and now they bring their own kids. That’s just the way the years go by in Shadipur. We aren't trying to be some big hospital, just a local spot for health stuff. We close up when the work is done.
