We are tucked away here in Govind Puri, specifically at 16/500, which is right in the thick of things in Kalkaji. It’s a busy spot. Every morning, the noise from the street starts early, and you can hear the rickshaws and people heading to the market. Our office isn’t anything fancy. It’s just a regular room with some desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and stacks of papers that we try to keep organized. Most days, it’s just about getting through the pile of work on the desk. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to wait a bit, which gives us time to grab a cup of tea from the shop downstairs. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve been this way for a while and nobody really minds. It’s a practical place. We show up, do what needs doing for the people who come in, and then head home when the sun goes down. There’s a certain rhythm to it. People around here know where we are if they need help with their paperwork or have questions about what we do at Premier Consultancy. It isn’t about making a big show of things. We just stay busy and keep the fans running when it gets hot in the afternoons. That’s pretty much how it goes here in Delhi.
