Working out of Sector 8 in Rohini is quite different from being in the center of the city. It feels a bit more like a neighborhood here. Our office isn't hard to find if you know this part of Delhi. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It’s a quiet enough area during the middle of the day. We have a few desks set up and some computers that have seen better days. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front windows, so we keep the blinds down mostly. We aren't the type to have meetings in big boardrooms. Usually, we just pull up a chair next to someone's desk and talk things through. There is a small park nearby where some of us go for a walk when the weather is decent. The food around here is actually pretty good, lots of local places to grab a quick bite. We don’t really put much effort into decorating the place. It’s just white walls and some calendars hanging up. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and typing. We try to stay on top of things but there's always something new coming in. It’s just us doing our jobs in this little corner of Rohini. It’s not a glamorous life but it's ours. We head home once the work is finished for the day, usually around the time the sun starts going down behind the buildings.
