Pbc Softwares is actually located over at 50-T on the terrace in Sector-7, Jasola Vihar. Even though people associate us with Nehru Place, this is where the actual work happens. Being on the terrace means we get a bit more light than the lower floors, which is nice when you're staring at screens all day. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but you get used to it. The office is full of computers and cables running everywhere. Deeksha Baliyan and the rest of us spend most of our time troubleshooting software and trying to figure out why things aren't loading correctly. It’s not the most exciting job to describe, but it keeps us busy. We have a small kettle for making tea and a few chairs that have seen better days. Jasola Vihar is a bit quieter than the main hubs, which helps us focus. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist; if the door knocks, whoever is closest just gets up to open it. It’s a very casual atmosphere. We wear what we want and sometimes stay late if a project is acting up. We’ve been in this Sector-7 spot for a while now. It’s just a small group of people who know a lot about code and computers. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people finding us through word of mouth or old contacts. Sometimes the pigeons on the terrace make a lot of noise, but we just ignore it and keep typing away.
