We’ve been based at Omam Consultants Pvt Ltd at 57 National Park in Lajpat Nagar-IV for a long time now. It’s a pretty good location in New Delhi, and we like the atmosphere of the neighborhood. Our office is a straightforward place. We don’t have a lobby with a receptionist sitting behind a marble desk. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from what we’re doing. We have a lot of books and files scattered around because we’ve been at this for years. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend our days working through various projects and talking to each other. It’s a very relaxed environment, even when we have a lot to do. We don’t really care about titles or who is in charge of what. If something needs to be finished, whoever is free just helps out. We usually take a break together in the afternoon for some snacks from the local shops. It’s a simple way of working that has always suited us. We don’t feel the need to follow all those modern office trends you see on the news. We just stay in our corner of Lajpat Nagar and get our work done. It’s a practical setup for a small team that just wants to do a decent job every day. The building is a bit old, but it has character and we’ve made it our own over the many years we have been here.
