The office is located in the DDA Flats at Kalkaji, specifically at L1, 32 A. If you know the Kalkaji area, you know it can be a bit of a maze with all the different blocks and flats, but we are right there in the thick of it. The DDA flats have that classic Delhi look, with stairs that are a bit narrow and balconies overlooking the street. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for what we need to do at New Era India Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. We have our computers set up and enough room for everyone to sit and do their work without bumping into each other too much. The market is quite close, so there is always a lot of noise from the rickshaws and the vendors during the day. It makes the place feel alive, even if it’s a bit distracting when you’re trying to concentrate. We’ve been here for a good while, and we like the local feel of the neighborhood. There isn't a big lobby or a security guard at a front desk; you just come up to the flat and knock. Most of our day involves talking to people on the phone or going through documents on our desks. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s just a normal, hardworking office in a busy part of the city where we try to keep things running.
