New Born Soft Toys

Our little workshop, New Born Soft Toys, is located at Plot No. 496/A/3 in Gali No. 5. It is part of the Mahavir Block in the Bhola Nath Nagar area of Shahdara. If you have ever been through these narrow lanes, you know it is a lively and crowded place. We spend our days surrounded by rolls of soft fabric, bags of stuffing, and lots of colorful thread. We started this because we liked the idea of making something simple that kids would enjoy. It is mostly just a few of us here. We do the cutting, sewing, and finishing ourselves. The floor is usually covered in bits of fluff by the end of the day, and it can get a bit messy, but that is just how it goes when you are actually making things. We are not a large factory with machines doing everything. A lot of the work is done by hand because that is just how we learned to do it. Neighbors often walk by and peek in to see what new toy we are working on. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big sign out front. It is just a practical workspace where we try to make toys that are sturdy and look alright. We have been in Shahdara for a while and we like being part of the local community here. It is a humble business, and we are just trying to keep things moving one toy at a time.
