National Bearing Centre

Our place is at Plot No 64 on Shardhanand Marg. It’s right on G.B. Road. It’s a very industrial and busy area for a business. National Bearing Centre is what we call ourselves. We’ve been at this plot for a long time. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some of the corners. We don't mind it much. We have a lot of shelves filled with different things we need. It’s a bit dark inside the store, but we know where everything is kept. Shardhanand Marg is a tough street with all the trucks and loaders going by. It’s always noisy outside with the traffic. We spend our days checking orders and talking to people who come in. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a corporate office or a big human resources department. It’s just us. We drink tea and manage the stock. G.B. Road has its own life. It’s crowded and messy, but it’s where we belong. We’ve seen many businesses come and go over the years, but we’ve stayed right here at Plot No 64. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just try to get the right items to the people who need them. Sometimes we have to hunt through the back to find something specific. It takes some time, but we eventually get there. By the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. We lock the heavy gates and head home. That’s a normal day for us.
