Naithani Electricals

We have been running things here at Plot No.1812/5 in Indu Bazar for a good while now. If you’ve ever been to Bhagirath Palace in Chandni Chowk, you know exactly how crowded it gets. Our shop, Naithani Electricals, is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, mostly filled with boxes of wires, switches, and lighting parts that we’ve collected over the years. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to find exactly what a customer wants right away, but we always manage to dig it out from the back eventually. The space is small and we don't have any air conditioning, so we usually just keep the big fans blowing and drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner. It’s a lot of manual work, moving crates and checking inventory, but it keeps us busy. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the neighborhood or contractors who have known us since we first opened. We don’t really do any big advertising or have a slick website. We just open the shutters every morning and start our day. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out. We like the rhythm of the market, even when it’s chaotic. It’s just a normal, local business trying to do things right and keep the customers coming back.
