Monga Bearing Corpration

Monga Bearing Corpration is located in the Sultan Singh Building, which is right behind the Bata showroom at Kashmere Gate. Being at Plot No. 1321/5/A means we are tucked away a bit, but that’s fine with us. It stays a little cooler inside the building than it does out on the main road during the summer months. We have racks and racks of bearings, and they can get pretty heavy when we have to move them around for an order. The building itself is old, so the floors are a bit uneven and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it does what it needs to do. We spend most of our mornings checking the new arrivals and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. We get a lot of mechanics and small shop owners coming through the door. They usually have grease on their hands and they want something specific for a repair. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or things like that. We just focus on having the parts ready when someone needs them. The tea stall downstairs makes a great ginger tea, which helps us get through the long afternoons when the humidity is high. It’s a steady life here at the office, and we are quite content with how things go. We just take it one day at a time, serving whoever walks in.
