Mediators Placement Consultants

Our place is at 99A on Eastern Avenue in Sainik Farm. It’s a very green part of New Delhi, which makes the commute a lot nicer than going into the city center. We work as placement consultants, which is a way of saying we help people find jobs and companies find workers. The office is inside a regular building and it feels more like a home than a workspace. We have a lot of files and a few computers that are always running. Because it’s Sainik Farm, it’s mostly quiet outside, except for the birds and the occasional car passing by. We spend hours every day looking at resumes and talking to people on the phone to see if they are a good fit for whatever role we are trying to fill. It can be a bit tedious, but it’s satisfying when someone actually gets hired. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just sit here, drink our chai, and go through the lists of names. Sometimes we have people come in for a face-to-face chat, and we sit in the chairs by the window. The sunlight comes in nicely there in the mornings. It’s a straightforward business, and we’ve been at this address for a long time now, so people know where to find us. It is just us doing our daily tasks.
