Mascot

Our place, Mascot, is over in the DDA Flats at Kalkaji-19. We’re on the first floor of building J1/135. It’s a typical Kalkaji setup, you know how those flats are. It’s got a bit of character, maybe some old wiring and windows that rattle when a heavy truck goes by, but it’s home for us. Being on the first floor is nice because we don't have to climb too many stairs when we’re carrying stuff in or heading out for a quick break. Kalkaji is always buzzing with people and traffic, so there’s never really a quiet moment outside our door. Inside at Mascot, we just try to stay on top of our daily tasks. We’ve got a small team and we all know each other’s names and how we like our tea. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any means. It’s just a flat that we’ve turned into our workspace over the years. You’ll find us here most weekdays, usually with a lot of papers scattered around and screens glowing in the corners. We like being in this part of Delhi. It’s central enough and almost everyone knows where the DDA flats are located. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the narrow lanes, especially during the market hours when things get really loud. But Mascot has been here for a while and we’ve settled into the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s a practical spot for a group like ours that just wants to work.
