Mail Processor

This is the spot for Mail Processor, run by Leiphrakpam Bishorjit Singh. We are located at number 159 in Dhaka Colony, right by the Kingsway Camp area. It’s a busy part of New Delhi-9, especially with all the students and travelers moving around near the university side. The office is basically a hub for sorting and getting things ready to go out. It gets pretty dusty with all the paper and envelopes moving through here every day. We don’t have much in the way of decorations, just long tables and plenty of stamps and sorting bins. Some days the piles of mail seem like they’ll never end, but we just keep at it until the floor is clear. Bishorjit is usually around making sure things don't get mixed up. Dhaka Colony is a tight-knit place, so we see the same delivery guys every morning. It's noisy and there's always someone knocking on the door asking for directions or looking for a package. We don't use any fancy sorting machines, just our hands and eyes to make sure names and addresses match up. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning till late. The light in the back room is a bit dim, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We just focus on getting the mail where it needs to go without any fuss. It is a very practical operation we have running here.
