We’re located over at H-137 in Kali Bari, right near Gole Market. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know it has that old-school feel to it with the roundabouts and the colonial-style buildings. Our office for Mafoi Management and Consultancy is right in the middle of it all. It’s an older building, and sometimes the stairs are a bit narrow and steep, but it’s got character. We do a lot of consulting work here, mostly helping businesses figure out their staff and management stuff. There’s usually four or five of us in the room at any given time, typing away or talking to clients on the phone. The noise from the market outside can be a bit much during peak hours, especially with all the horns honking, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy art on the walls. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and get our work done. Sometimes we grab lunch from the local stalls nearby, which is one of the best things about being in this area. The address is pretty central, which makes it easy for people to drop by, though we’re usually pretty buried in our files and spreadsheets. We’ve had to fix the lights a few times and the paint could probably use a touch-up, but it’s a good place to work. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized amidst all the documents. It's a simple operation, really, and we like being right here in the middle of the city.
