Maa Tara Agency is tucked away on the second floor of the Old Double Storey building in Lajpat Nagar. The exact spot is O - 52, and you have to head up the stairs to find us. Barnalee Kalita runs things here, and it’s a fairly busy place most days. Being in Lajpat Nagar means there is always a lot of noise and activity outside, but inside we just focus on getting our work done. We help people find work or find help, depending on what they are looking for. It’s the kind of place where people come in and out all day long. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical office where we keep our files and meet with people. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. Finding the right person for a job can be tricky, so we spend a lot of time talking and checking details. New Delhi - 24 is a big area, but we’ve managed to carve out our own little space here.
