Prashant Singh runs things here at the Ma Foi Management Consultant Ltd. office located at 13/4 in Pantnagar, Jang Pura. It’s on the third floor, so it’s a bit of a hike, but at least it’s a bit quieter than the ground level. Jang Pura has that old-school Delhi feel where everyone kind of knows everyone else’s business. We’ve been at this location for a while now, dealing with management consulting and all that goes with it. The office itself is pretty simple. We have some wooden cabinets that have seen better days and a few computers that we probably should have updated a couple of years ago. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find a couple of us sitting around a table covered in folders and half-empty water bottles. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. The neighborhood is great for food, so lunch breaks are usually the highlight of the day. There’s a lot of history in these streets around Pantnagar, and we feel like a small part of that local fabric. We don’t go for big presentations or flashy slogans. We just sit down, listen to what people need help with, and try to find a way to make it happen from our little third-floor corner. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes the fans make a clicking noise that drives us crazy, but we get the work done anyway.
