Our office is over in Surajmal Vihar, specifically in Block-A at A-218. It’s a decent area with plenty of trees around, which makes the morning walk from the parking spot quite pleasant. Livelinking Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd. isn't one of those glass-tower companies you see in the movies. We are in a regular building with stairs that are a bit too steep. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of computers and a lot of wires running along the floor. We try to keep the wires tucked away, but they always seem to crawl back out. The lighting is a bit bright, but it keeps us awake during the slow afternoon hours. We spend a lot of time looking at screens, so we make sure to take breaks and talk about things other than work. There’s a small kitchenette where we keep the fridge and a microwave that takes forever to heat anything up. We share our lunches and talk about the news or what happened over the weekend. It feels more like a small family than a corporation. We don't have big meetings in boardrooms. We usually just huddle around someone's desk to solve a problem. It’s more efficient that way. We like being in Surajmal Vihar because it’s not as chaotic as the main city center. It gives us a bit of breathing room to focus on the projects we have.
