If you go to Naya Bazaar in Delhi, you’ll find Laksh Hrti on the first floor of house number 2603. The market downstairs is always packed with people and goods being moved around on heavy carts. It’s one of those old parts of the city where the streets are narrow and the buildings have a lot of history to them. Our office isn't very large, but it’s where we do all our daily work. We focus on training and helping people with their professional skills. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep and narrow, so you really have to watch your step when you visit. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and some plastic chairs for people to sit while they talk to us about their plans. We have some posters on the wall that have been there for quite a few years now. It’s a busy atmosphere because of all the market noise leaking in from outside, but we’ve learned to ignore it over time. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. There’s no big neon sign outside, just a small board that points the way. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they were already in the bazaar for something else. It feels very connected to the local life here. We handle a lot of registrations and talk to many young people looking for a way to start their careers. It’s a simple, honest place with no fancy decorations.
