Khan Traders

Khan Traders is tucked away at Plot No.546 in Darya Ganj. We are in the Chattalal Miyan area, specifically located behind the Delite cinema. If you know Darya Ganj, you know how tight the lanes can be and how much is always happening around every corner. Our plot is packed with the various things we trade. It can look like a bit of a mess to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Being behind Delite means we hear the crowds and the movie sounds sometimes. It’s a historic part of the city, and our building shows its age a bit with some cracks in the plaster, but it’s sturdy. We spend our days negotiating, checking stock, and moving items out for delivery. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of lifting. The air in Darya Ganj is always thick with the smell of street food and the exhaust from scooters. We like it here though. There’s a sense of history in these walls. We are just traders doing our business in a place we know well. Every day brings a different challenge or a different person through the door. We just take it as it comes and try to keep things moving. We have an old iron shutter that’s a bit heavy to lift in the mornings, but once it’s up, we are ready for whatever the day brings. It’s just how we operate.
