Kamal Beariang

Our shop is located at Plot No. 63 on Shardanand Marg, right in the middle of the Ajmeri Gate area. If you’ve ever been down this road, you know how hectic it can get with the traffic and the noise. We deal with bearings all day, so there is always that smell of oil and metal in the air. Some people notice the spelling of Kamal Beariang on the sign, but we haven't bothered to change it because everyone knows who we are anyway. The space isn't huge, but we make the most of it by stacking things all the way to the ceiling. You have to be careful when you're pulling a box down so the whole pile doesn't shift on you. We have a small desk where the phone sits, and it rings more than you'd expect. Most of the time it’s just someone asking if we have a specific size in stock. We don't have any fancy computer systems for tracking things, just our own memory and a few notebooks that are getting a bit old. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. We have been here for years, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit over time. But inside here, things stay pretty much the same. We just keep selling bearings and talking to the regulars who stop by for a quick chat before they head back out.
