It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of foot traffic and noise. Being near the police station means it’s a pretty easy landmark for anyone coming to see us for the first time. The office is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to worry about. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a few computers. We help people with job-related things, which means the phone rings quite a bit throughout the day. It’s not a polished recruitment agency with a glass front. It’s more of a back-office kind of feel. We have a lot of papers piled up and notes stuck to the walls. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is a blessing in the Delhi summer.
