Jensons International

Jensons International is located at 4566, Yadav Building, which is right in the middle of the chaos that is Deputy Ganj in Sadar Bazaar. If you’ve been to this part of Delhi, you know how crowded it gets with the rickshaws, the loaders, and the shoppers all squeezed into the narrow lanes. Our office is in an old building, and we’ve been here long enough that we know all the other shopkeepers on the floor. It’s a busy place where phones are always ringing and people are constantly coming in to check on their orders. We don’t have much space to move around because of all the samples and cartons piled up against the walls. The Yadav Building doesn't have much in the way of ventilation, so we keep the old ceiling fans running at full speed most of the year. Dealing with international trade from a place like Sadar Bazaar has its own set of challenges, mostly just the logistics of getting goods through the crowded streets. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters and checking the paperwork for the customs guys. It’s a lot of back-and-forth work, and things rarely go exactly to plan, but we manage to get things moving eventually. It’s a gritty, fast-paced environment and it definitely isn't for everyone, but it's where we work every single day without fail.
