Our office is over at 452/8, Bhushan Bhawan right on the Ring Road. If you know where the New Sabzi Mandi is, then you know exactly how busy it gets around here. The smell of vegetables and the sound of trucks is just part of the morning routine. It’s a bit of a maze inside with different offices, but we are tucked in our spot. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that right now. We handle a lot of different things, from guarding to looking into matters for people who come to us. It’s noisy outside with the traffic on the Ring Road, so we usually keep the windows shut tight. Sometimes the stairs are a bit slippery when it rains, so you have to watch your step. We have some old maps on the wall and a lot of filing cabinets that are overflowing. It’s not a corporate showroom. It’s a working office where real stuff happens. We know the tea stall guy downstairs pretty well. He brings us snacks when we can't leave the desk. Being near the Mandi means there is always movement, which is good for a business like ours. We just keep our heads down and do the work required for the day.
