You can find us in East Guru Angad Nagar, specifically at Gali No 8 near Radhu Palace. This is our East Delhi office for Indiamart Ltd. It is a very lively part of the city. There is always some kind of noise coming from the street, whether it’s a rickshaw or someone selling vegetables. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a row of desks with computers where we help local businesses get their products listed online. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters. It’s just a local branch where we work hard. We have a small area to sit and have lunch. Most of us bring food from home, but sometimes we go out to the little shops around Radhu Palace. The gali can get quite narrow and crowded in the afternoons. We’ve been here for a good amount of time. The office walls are a bit plain, and we have boxes of files tucked into the corners. It is a very honest kind of workspace. We don’t wear fancy suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes for a regular day of work. The internet sometimes acts up when it rains, but we manage to get things finished. We like being in East Delhi because it feels connected to the real traders and shopkeepers. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it is where we belong. We just do our bit every day and then head home.
