India Liner

Finding us at Plot No. 3 can be a little tricky if you aren't familiar with the area behind the Bala Show Room at Kashmere Gate. It’s a busy spot in the New G.N.A Market, and there is always some kind of truck blocking the lane when we are trying to get things done. We spend a lot of our time moving liners around and making sure we haven't lost track of the inventory in the back. The walls are a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, but that’s just part of being in this part of the city. We have a few chairs for visitors, though they usually don't stay long. Most people are in a hurry to get back to their own shops or garages. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a small plastic fan going near the front desk. We don’t really bother with big advertisements because word of mouth seems to do enough for us. My father used to say that if you stay in one place long enough, people will find you, and that seems to be true for India Liner. We just keep the boxes stacked and the ledger updated as best as we can. It’s a lot of manual work and sometimes our backs ache by five o'clock, but it’s an honest way to make a living. We’re just glad to be part of the market and see the same faces.
