Idcg is located right in Lajpat Nagar. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know how crowded and lively it gets. Our office is a bit of a refuge from all that noise outside. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for our small team to sit and work. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. It’s just a door among many others. We spend most of our time on research or talking to people on the phone. There’s usually a pile of newspapers or reports somewhere on the table. We don't wear suits or follow a strict dress code. It’s much more comfortable that way. Sometimes the traffic in Lajpat Nagar makes us late in the morning, which is frustrating but expected for anyone living here. We get a lot of people walking by outside, but we mostly stay tucked inside the office. It’s a practical workspace. The furniture is functional, nothing too modern or expensive. We share a small kitchen area for making coffee and tea. It feels more like a home office than a corporate building. We just do our tasks, talk about the news, and try to stay on top of our workload. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the papers, but we know where everything is. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is just a short walk away. It is just a normal job.
