We are over in Chattarpur Enclave, specifically at B1/90 Phase 2. It’s not one of those massive bank buildings you see in the city center. It’s tucked away a bit, which makes it feel a little more like a local spot. We’ve got the usual setup here with counters and a few chairs for people waiting their turn. New Delhi heat can be something else, so the AC is always running at full blast during the summer months. Most of us have been working here for a bit and we know the regulars who come in to sort out their accounts or drop off papers. It gets pretty busy on Monday mornings, as you’d expect. The street outside can be a bit narrow, so parking is sometimes a bit of a puzzle for people visiting. We try to keep things moving so no one has to wait too long. It’s a straightforward place. We handle the daily banking stuff, talk to customers, and deal with the piles of forms that seem to never end. There’s a small shop nearby where we usually grab some snacks in the afternoon. It’s just a normal office environment where we focus on getting the numbers right. We don’t have any grand speeches about what we do. We just show up, open the doors, and help people with their money matters until it’s time to head home. It is just work and we do it.
