Our small consultancy is located at An-44 A in Shalimar Bagh. It’s a nice residential neighborhood in North Delhi, and we like that it feels more like a home than a corporate building. The office is basically a converted part of the house, which makes it feel quite personal and relaxed. We have a few computers and some filing cabinets where we keep everything organized. People come to us for advice and help with various things, and we usually sit down with them at a big wooden table. It’s not a high-pressure environment. There is a lot of greenery in Shalimar Bagh, so the view from the window is actually quite pleasant compared to other parts of the city. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know each other well. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it’s just a delivery or a neighbor, but that’s just how it is here. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day, especially in the winter when it gets chilly. The walk to the local market isn't far, so we usually go there if we need some office supplies or a quick snack. It’s a quiet life as consultants in this part of town. We just do our work, talk to our clients, and try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. It is a very normal way to spend a workday in a busy city like Delhi.
