Our place is located in Uttam Nagar, right near the Metro Station in New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know it’s always buzzing with people and the noise of the traffic never really stops. We are the Hi-Tech Institute Of Mobile Phone Technology Pvt Ltd. and we mostly spend our days teaching people how to take apart and fix all sorts of mobile phones. The workshop is a bit of a mess, honestly. There are tiny screws everywhere, soldering irons sitting on benches, and old phone screens piled up in the corner. It’s not a polished classroom with whiteboards and silence. It’s more of a place where you get your hands dirty and learn by doing. We have students coming in from all over Delhi because the metro makes it easy to get here, even when the roads are a disaster. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when it’s really hot outside, so we just open the windows and deal with the heat. We don't really do formal lectures. Most of the time, we’re just huddled around a table showing someone how to fix a charging port or a broken motherboard. We’ve been at this for a long time, so we’ve seen every kind of phone problem you can imagine. It’s a practical, local spot where folks come to learn a real skill that might help them start something for themselves one day. It’s just how things are run here.
