Our office for Hcl Technologies & Bpo Ltd. is at 69-C Sfs Flats, specifically in Pocket-A of Mayur Vihar Phase-Iii. This is in the Delhi-96 area. It’s not like those massive office complexes you see in the movies. We work out of a flat, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a workplace. There are computers on almost every surface and wires running along the walls. We do a lot of BPO work, so there’s a constant hum of people talking and keys clicking. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but we have some fans to keep the air moving. We aren't a big, anonymous corporation when you’re inside these walls. We know each other’s names and whose turn it is to bring in snacks. The parking around Mayur Vihar can be a bit of a nightmare, so most of us try to use the bus or find a spot early in the morning. We don’t have a receptionist in a uniform. If someone knocks, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We’ve been at this address for a good while and the people in the other flats are used to us being here. We just focus on getting through the daily tasks and making sure the technology side of things stays up and running. It's a simple life at 69-C Sfs Flats.
