At A-47 in the Jhilmil Industrial Area of Shahadara, you’ll find the workshop for Hardik Appliances. This whole area is full of small shops and factories making all sorts of things. We focus on appliances, which means our space is usually full of metal parts, tools, and half-finished machines. It can get pretty loud when everyone is working at once, but that’s just how an industrial area feels. Shahadara is a busy place and getting to A-47 in the mornings can be a bit of a challenge with all the traffic. Once we are inside, we just get to work. We don't have any polished sales pitches or glossy brochures. We just build the stuff and fix what needs fixing. The walls are a bit scuffed and the floor has seen better days, but it’s a place where real work happens. We have a small crew and we all know what needs to be done without having to talk about it too much. Most of our day is spent at the benches putting things together. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and know the neighbors well. It’s just a normal workshop doing normal work every day of the week.
