Gurbax Singh & Sons

We are located right in the middle of the chaos at Bartan Market in Sadar Bazar. It’s on the first floor, Shop 485-86, just opposite Pan Mandi. If you have ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know how busy it gets. There are people everywhere and it’s always loud. Gurbax Singh & Sons is a family thing. It has been that way for a long time. We mostly deal with household items and whatever else is moving in the market that week. Our shop is packed to the ceiling with stuff. There isn't much room to move around, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing business. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk up the stairs and see us. Sometimes we sit and have tea while waiting for the next person to come in. Being in Bartan Market means we see all sorts of people from all over. It’s a tough place to work because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s home for us. We don't do flashy displays. We just have our goods and our prices. My sons help out, and we keep the place running day in and day out. If you are looking for us, just look for the sign near Pan Mandi and come on up. We are usually there from early morning until the market shuts down. We just keep things moving along and hope for a good day.
