Good Fellow Foreign Services

We’ve been here at Batla House for a good while now. Our office is at H-68, right in the middle of Jamia Nagar. People around here know us because we handle a lot of the paperwork for going abroad. It’s mostly visas, passport stuff, and those kinds of documents that take forever to figure out on your own. My desk is usually covered in folders and stamps. It gets pretty busy, especially in the mornings when the sun hits the front door. We aren't a big fancy agency with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a plain office where we get the job done. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it. Most of our days are spent checking forms and making sure names are spelled right. It’s tedious work, but someone has to do it so people can travel. We’ve seen a lot of neighbors head off to different countries over the years. It’s nice when they come back and tell us how things went. We just keep things moving here in New Delhi-25. If you walk past the Jamia area, you’ve probably seen our sign. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth keeps us plenty busy. We just focus on the files in front of us. There’s always another pile of applications waiting for the next day. We try to stay organized, but sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble when deadlines are tight.
