Global Parcel Services is tucked away in the Vikaspuri Main Market area, specifically over in West Patel Nagar at X 2. If you know the market, you know it can get pretty crowded with people and traffic most days. We spend a lot of time sorting through boxes and checking labels. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We don’t have any fancy robots or anything like that, just us making sure parcels get loaded up. The shop space is filled with tape and packing paper most of the time. Sometimes the courier trucks have a hard time parking right in front because the street is so narrow. We just deal with it. It’s a local spot where neighbors come by to drop off stuff for their relatives or business. We’ve been at this address for a bit, so the regulars know exactly where to find us. It’s not a quiet job, there is always someone coming in or a phone ringing in the back. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, it can look a bit chaotic with all the packages piled up. We just work through the stack until it’s done. It’s a simple way to make a living, helping people move their things from one place to another. We’re right there in the thick of the market activity. Sometimes we run out of tape and have to send someone out to the next shop over to get more. The floor is usually covered in little bits of plastic and cardboard.
