Gi Careers Consultancy Pvt. Ltd is based at 88 Chitra Vihar in New Delhi. It’s a nice enough spot, and we’ve been here for a while now. The office is basically where we help people figure out their next steps with work and careers. It’s a lot of talking to people about what they can do and where they want to go. We have a few desks set up and plenty of space for files. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters, just a place where we can sit down and focus. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We’re just a small team doing our best to help out. Chitra Vihar is a good location for us because it’s relatively easy to get to. Most days are spent on the phone or meeting with people who need some direction. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated theories. We just look at what’s available and talk it through. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s pretty quiet. That’s just the nature of this kind of work. We’ve grown fond of this neighborhood and the people who come by. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. We don’t have any polished marketing materials, just our time and what we know. It’s just us here, working through the daily tasks and helping folks out.
