General Bearing & Mill Store

We're located at 1499-7 in Gali Akhunjee, which is part of the Farash Khana area on G.B. Road. Anyone who knows Delhi knows how the streets are around here. It’s tight, noisy, and there is always something happening. Our store is full of bearings and various mill supplies. We’ve got stacks of stuff reaching the ceiling. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we have a system that works for us. We spend a lot of time helping people figure out which part fits their old machinery. Sometimes the labels are gone and we have to measure things out by hand. It’s a lot of standing around on concrete floors all day. The air is thick with the smell of industrial oil, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. We're just a local store that’s been in the same spot for quite a while. Most days are spent talking to mechanics and factory owners who need a specific size that nobody else seems to have. We just try to keep a good stock and help the people who walk through the door. It’s a simple business, really. We open up early, stay late if we have to, and go home tired. It's just the way it's always been here in the market.
